Born in 1959 in Minsk. In 1977 graduated from the Belarusian State Choreographic School and became the leading soloist at the National Academic Bolshoi Ballet Theater of Belarus. 

For 20 years of her stage career, the ballerina, whom the press liked to call the Belarusian Ulanova, performed all the solo and leading roles in the repertoire of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater — Carmen, Juliet, Giselle, Medora, Phrygia, Nikiya, La Sylphide, Kitri, Eva, Rogneda, etc. 

Back in Soviet times she became a laureate of the V All-Union Ballet Competition in Moscow and a laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Belarus, and a little later — People’s Artist of Belarus. In 1989, according to the English press, she joined the top five best ballerinas in the world. For creating the character of Rogneda in the ballet «Passion» to the music by Andrei Mdivani she was awarded the State Prize of Belarus. After twenty years of dedication to the theater, she ended her stage career and focused on ballet teaching. 

From 2012 to 2022 was the Artistic Director of the Belarusian State Choreographic Gymnasium-College. Among the students are stars of the Belarusian ballet and laureates of international competitions.
